How many times I we heard that phrase, and yet people that take only cell phone pictures, hardly end up printing them. They just sit on your phone and they don't end up on the wall or in an album that you can look at over and over again. What does it mean to have Heirloom portraits? It means that you want something that will last and will be able to hang on the wall for your memories. It means that you want to record moments in time so that you can remember that special times in your life. It is worth the investment to have someone that knows what they are doing creatively to get it right.
I am a photographer who knows how important portraits are because my family is no longer able to create those precious moments with our son like we would love to do. After losing him to a car accident almost 3 years ago, there are many moments that I will always wish that he would be in a picture, but know it will never happen again in this lifetime. I cherish all the pictures we do have that other have taken.
If you are truly one of the people that actually print up pictures that you have taken on your phone, than I am glad. One of the things that happen with printing a cell phone picture is that if you try printing bigger than an 8x10, it becomes distorted because there is not enough megapixels. If you have tried it creates a fuzzy look to it, and you can't see the details very well. That is why photographers still create and work, to help you keep the details of your memories.
